This Committee is intended to assist with ABA’s Legislative efforts, with the goal of making an impact on legislative decisions that impact the commercial construction industry.
Our main activities are:
- Maintain a legislative outreach program to educate key legislators about issues affecting the construction industry
- Oversight on legislation that may affect construction industry. Introduce legislation as needed to protect and improve construction industry
- Establish “commercial construction industry experts and champions” that identifies ABA members who may influence legislators and other public officials
