My favorite part of overseeing the day-to-day operations at Millwork by Design is problem solving. I very much enjoy the challenges inherent in transforming the dreams of the designers and the intent of the architects from the two dimensional into materialized, fabricated, and installed 3D millworks.
I joined the ABA 18 years ago to network with the best leaders in the industry. I also appreciate the ABA representation and influence of the legislation that impacts my small business. As a member of the ABA I benefit greatly from this legislation, as well as work force development and apprentice programs.
Professionally, my greatest achievement is founding, growing and sustaining MBD, Inc.. I have participated in various volunteer roles, including chairing the ABA volunteer day committee and being awarded “Volunteer of the Year”. My company and my volunteer efforts are my legacy of service and commitment to excellence. Additionally, I am very
proud to partner with Skills USA and JTED opportunities to advocate for employment opportunities for youth who might not otherwise find validity and opportunity in this field.
Personally, I am very proud of my 33-year marriage, my two children and two granddaughters.
In my free time, I enjoy fishing, golfing, and bowling. I love spending time outdoors and time with my two granddaughters, family, and friends as much as I can.
My philosophy in life is essentially to provide the highest quality, professional workmanship and to value the craftsmen and women who make it all possible.
]I would like to thank the ABA for bringing attention to and highlighting the opportunities the construction trade has to offer and making the industry a viable option for future generations.
