Lloyd & CAPLA Scholarship Awards

Education and workforce development are vital for the ongoing strength and success of Arizona’s construction industry. The Arizona Builders Alliance (ABA) is dedicated to investing in the future of construction professionals by supporting students pursuing construction-related degrees at the University of Arizona.

In recognition of his enduring contributions to the Tucson commercial construction industry, the Bill Lloyd Sr. Scholarship was created to offer financial support to students enrolled in the UA College of Engineering. Since its creation, ABA members have raised $ in scholarship funds through this program.

Additionally, ABA firms have collectively donated $ to support students in the UA College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA), further strengthening the industry’s commitment to excellence in education, design, and construction.

ABA respectfully invites members and industry partners to make a tax-deductible scholarship contribution in their company’s name. These investments directly support student achievement, strengthen the construction workforce pipeline, and help ensure the continued vitality of our industry.

All donors will be recognized in event materials, on the ABA website, and during the scholarship program.
